“ Cosy little restaurant with nice calm vibe, seats perhaps 20 downstairs and the same in a mezzanine level. Great wine by the glass by an unassuming and kind bartender.. and best of all the crew, great job and made me feel at home despite dining for one only. Entrecote steak was slightly tough but the wines by the glass and the service made up for it! ”

“ Best place I tried in Spain. If you want to know what a good croqueta is start here. But be warned , pretty much everything else will be a let down. Great wine selection , great tapas. We didn't get to try the sit down restaurant due to timing but after the quality of the tapas there's no doubt it will be stellar. ”

The food was good, but given the high prices, I expected a bit more; it just lacked that Michelin spark that it should or could have had. Nothing objectionable, quite tasty, but at 50 euros per person it could have left a stronger impression. The wine, obviously, was superb. ”

“ Spectacular. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, very knowledgeable. We ate here two nights in a row, the food was so good! We had almost everything on the menu and every single dish was incredible, truly a gem. The history of the restaurant itself is quite interesting, and we’re glad we asked one of our servers who explained the traditions of the town and the vast history of the restaurant itself. Ask about the paintings on the wall and the horses and you will get a very interesting answer. If we are ever back in Haro, and hopefully we will be, we will absolutely come back to dine here. ”

“ This restaurant is only one long block off the plaza in Haro. The chanterelle mushrooms were served with an egg yolk in the center, which made for a great combination. The sliced ribeye was well-executed, and accompanied by a midprice Rioja Vino Tinto Reserva was a very satisfying experience . Juana our waitress was charming and professional. I highly recommend reservations in advance as they are not so many tables. Also, I would request a table downstairs, as the upstairs is a bit cramped. I plan on returning and dining here again in my next trip to Haro. ”
